A deposit of 10% of the agreed sale price of the vehicle will secure a vehicle for 7 consecutive days, whereupon the balance must be paid by the close of business by the next working day. The deposit will be forfeit by the purchaser if the balance is not paid by the time stated and the vehicle will be re advertised on the open market. If the vehicle is cancelled by the purchaser within the 7 consecutive day period then the deposit will be refunded in full.
Unfortunately we have to stipulate this as it takes time and expense to re advertise a vehicle if a purchaser changes their mind at the last minute and it’s not fair if we have had to turn down other prospective buyers. Choosing a vehicle can often be an emotional decision or another one comes up with a different configuration that suits better, we understand that a buyer can change their mind which is fine, we have all been in that position which is why we offer a 7 consecutive day grace period to cancel from the deposit being received.
All payments for deposits and balance or full payment of vehicles must be by bank transfer from a U.K. bank, we do not accept cash, cheques, money orders, PayPal, Western Union or card payments. Title does not pass to purchaser until cleared funds have been received into our Company account and the vehicle will not be available for collection until those cleared funds have been received. Any overseas purchasers must use a bank transfer from a U.K. bank to make payments.
The reason why we insist on this method is for both your and our protection.
Warranties provided on vehicle sales are included in the sale price of the vehicle, your invoice will show the warranty cost as a separate line item.
We don’t sell vehicles to the general public without a warranty, the cost of the warranty is added to the cost of the vehicle. The price you see is the price you pay, we don’t hit you with “extras”. The invoice shows the vehicle price and warranty price, which added together make up the advertised price of the vehicle.
Warranties are supplied in addition to, and do not remove any of your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
It is simply as it says, you are protected by the Consumer Rights Act, the warranty is another and separate layer for peace of mind.
In the event of any warranty claim, the telephone number provided with your warranty must be used in the first instance to start the claim.
Our warranty process is simple, straightforward and used by many Motor Retailers. For a claim to go through the process then this is where you start, if you decide to engage a garage or attempt remedial action without authorisation then this may invalidate an otherwise valid claim.
It is a condition of the warranty that the vehicle be returned to us for inspection/remedial work, where this is not possible alternative arrangements will be agreed as part of the claim process.
We want to be able to resolve any valid claim as quickly and efficiently as we can, we recognise it’s not always possible to get a vehicle back to us for a variety of reasons, our process is designed to get things sorted wherever you are in the U.K.
You will be provided with a service schedule recommended by the Manufacturer for your vehicle, if a scheduled service (either by mileage or time elapsed) falls within the 3 month warranty we provide then this must be carried out for the warranty to remain valid. We would prefer to carry this work out ourselves at our standard service rates, but you may have this done at another garage at your cost as long as that service fully documents the parts used, parts used must either be Manufacturer genuine parts, Original Equipment (OE) parts or Original Equipment Manufacturer parts (OEM) and listed with part numbers on the service documentation.
Your vehicle will have been fully serviced by us immediately prior to your purchase, in the rare instance where high mileage use brings a service interval into play during our warranty period, it is critical that the parts used in that service are of suitable quality to ensure the continued reliability of your vehicle. We use the correct parts as a matter of course and this is why we would prefer to carry out this service for you, however we know this isn’t always convenient. So it is again critical that any servicing done by another party has to be proven to meet the standards that would not invalidate any claim on the warranty.
