Detailed Services

Suspension Refresh

When bushes need replacing, it usually means the others are not far behind. We can do a full re bush, using either Polybush or OE to suit your preference.

Each component is removed from the vehicle and the old bushes pressed out, surfaces cleaned and new bushes fitted.

Complete suspension changes can also be done, Shock absorbers and springs if required. Always a good time to discuss a suspension lift.

Night driving can be enhanced with additional driving lights, we can offer anything from a pair of traditional spotlights to high performance Lightforce beams. Whatever you choose they can be wired to work with your mainbeam or on an independent switch via the proper relays.

The Land Rover Defender headlights in standard form are known to produce a less than dazzling performance, the easiest way to improve this is with an uprated aftermarket wiring loom and improved earthing. Turning your lights from that yellow tinge back to bright white.

Other additions are roof light bars, work lamps, LED upgrades to external and interior lighting.

Sound Proofing

The driving experience of the Defender can be improved enormously by adding soundproof matting in the front and rear.

The difference is amazing when chatting to passengers, listening to the radio or making a handsfree phone call. On longer journeys it can help to reduce fatigue.

We supply and fit for any Defender.

The inside of your vehicle is a space unique to you and often where you spend a lot of time.

Being comfortable and having what you want to hand is a very personal choice, we can install all manner of upgrades to bring your space to life.

Seat upgrades, cubby boxes, headlining, dash modifications, Carling switch arrays, CB radios and USB points are just some examples of the things we do.

Defender van

The 90 and 110 vans are a fantastic blank canvas to make modifications, we can put new windows into the side panels. Whether you want a small window to see when looking over the shoulder or the larger County style.

Fitting seats into the rear isn’t a problem, the vehicle age will determine what can be fitted.

Up to 2007 – side facing seats can be fitted.

In certain circumstances seatbelts are not required but we would always recommend lap belts be fitted. Children under 12 years are not be be carried.

After 2007 – Forward facing seats must be fitted. If children are to be carried then the seats must be Type Approved.

Where new seatbelts or lap belts have been fitted, these should be inspected by Class V MOT station. Which we do as part of the work.

Rough and Tough

Not all vehicles are destined to stay on the tarmac and may be put to many uses, farming, equestrian or construction for example.

When being worked harder it makes sense to add some protection and modifications to tackle tougher terrain.

The choices are many but needs to suit the purpose and we can help you choose which route and product to buy.
